CUP FEVER.
As the season closes to a finish we focus on how are teams are progressing. Last week end our U12s managed by Steven Lambe and Daithi Grogan progressed to the final of their respective cup with an outstanding 7-0 Victory against Castleknock Celtic. They are due to play the Final in the A.U.L. complex on the 8th/9th of May. To help support the lads we can organise a coach to head out and support if we get the numbers. Great if Managers from the younger teams can get the Kids along in their teamwear to support the Lads. The lads are also well in the hunt for league honours trailing the league leaders by six points with 5 games in hand. Well done to all involved.
This weekend sees Paul Ratcliffe`s U11s compete in their cup semi final. Paul Kicks off at 11am in the club and once again all support is Welcome. Paul's teams are also in the running for league honours sitting 2nd in his league 1 point behind the leaders
Also this weekend our U11s managed by Paul Darcy will travel to elmdale to take on Cherry Orchard in the semi final of their respective cup. Paul's team sit top of their league and is also pushing for league honours.
Our U11s managed by Paul Madden have progressed to their league cup final after topping their group unbeaten. The date for this final will be released next week.
Our U13s SDFL D1 team managed by Anto Richmond will play their semi final v Park Celtic on the 23rd of April at S.D.F.L HQ
Our u14s SDFL D1 team managed by Mick Crowther will play their semi final v Blessington FC on the 24th of April at S.D.F.L. HQ. Mick and Mikey have done a fantastic job with the lads this season and a currently top of their respective league.
Please support all our teams in these upcoming fixtures and we would ask all under age managers to try and organise to get their players kitted out in teamwear and support the boys. We have made two finals and hopefully we can progress to all six.
Best of luck to all involved
